Like a traditional Earl Grey, Earl Grey Bravo contains a Ceylon black tea from Sri Lanka blended with bergamot oil, but the standing ovation for this blend comes from the addition of orange peel and blue cornflowers. This subtle addition enhances the zesty, exhilarating citrus aroma of the tea. The astringency of the black tea is rounded out and balanced by the addition of the bergamot and orange rind for a refreshing tea with a pleasantly dry finish and lingering hints of sweet citrus. This tea contains high levels of caffeine.

Some teas are recommended for brewing with boiling water, while others are brewed at lower temperatures. Even when brewing a tea at a lower temperature, it is recommended that you first boil the water (to kill bacteria etc.) and then allow the water to cool to the correct temperature (ice cubes speed up the process). While you can certainly brew any tea with boiling water, it will change the flavor of the tea.
