    Nettles

    Long believed to help relives symptoms of hay fever such as sneezing, runny nose and itchy eye, preliminary research supports the anti-inflammatory claims for this plant.

    Peppermint

    While there is insufficent evidence to support claims that peppermint helps relive symptom of colds, hay fever and sinus congestion, many find the menthol aroma soothing, reporting that it helps them breathe easier. As an added bonus, that touch of mint gives this blend a refreshing flavor that customers love!

    Elderflower

    While there is insufficient medical evidence to support claims that elderflower helps reduce nasal swelling, there are herbal products containing elderflower that are recognized as helping to treat inflamed nasal passages.     Some teas are recommended for brewing with boiling water, while others are brewed at lower temperatures. Even when brewing a tea at a lower temperature, it is recommended that you first boil the water (to kill bacteria etc.) and then allow the water to cool to the correct temperature (ice cubes speed up the process). While you can certainly brew any tea with boiling water, it will change the flavor of the tea.
